What about Covid-19?
You can book with confidence for our Spectacle of Light illuminated trail. Be assured that the safety and well-being of our visitors is of the utmost importance to us and we are continually monitoring and responding to the COVID-19 pandemic situation as it evolves.
Current plans in place for the comfort and reassurance of our visitors include:
- Reducing the number of tickets on sale within each time slot from previous years, to allow visitors more space
- Revising the trail route to one-way and reducing the chance of pinch points to manage visitor flow
- Additional cleaning and having hand sanitisation stations where appropriate
- Catering facilities are being designed to allow social distancing
In the unlikely situation that we need to cancel the whole event, you can transfer your ticket to the following year, or get a refund.
Do I Need A Ticket In Advance?
Yes, you must purchase a ticket prior to the event if you don’t want to pay full price. The earlier you purchase a ticket, the greater chance you have to guarantee your date and entry time slot. Each time slot has a set capacity and we expect the Spectacle to be extremely popular. We recommend you book as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
Where Do I Buy My Tickets?
Booking is now open. ’EarlyBird’ tickets save an amazing 25%, ‘Advance’ tickets save 15%, both are available online through the Everyman Theatre Website. For those wishing to purchase tickets in person, they are on sale at The Everyman Theatre Box Office in Cheltenham. For those wishing to purchase tickets by telephone please ring the Booking Line on 01242 705 555.
I Have Not Received My Tickets
If you have purchased tickets and have not received an e-mail, please check your junk mail first. If you still haven’t found the email please contact the Booking Line on 01242 705 555.
Is My Ticket Valid For Any Date?
Tickets are only valid for the date and entry time selected at the time of booking. Tickets are not transferable. Please ensure you allow plenty of time travelling to the Spectacle and to park.
What Does The Time On My Ticket Signify?
The time on the ticket is the time you should arrive at the entrance to gain access to the Spectacle having parked. To avoid large queues, entrance to the Spectacle requires to be spread across the evening, so please make sure that you arrive at the time you have booked.
I Would Like To Exchange My Tickets For A Different Date - Is That Possible?
Tickets are only valid for the date and entry time selected at the time of booking. However, it is possible to exchange your tickets for another date or time. Please contact the Booking Line on 01242 705 555. They will arrange to take back your existing tickets for an administrative charge of £2.00 and then process your new tickets, which are subject to availability and will be charged at the prevailing price.
Do I Need To Print My Tickets?
Once you have purchased your tickets, you will either receive an email containing a PDF ticket that you can print out. Alternatively you will receive a ticket in the post. All tickets must be presented at the entrance to the Spectacle.
Please remember to check your junk email after purchase as quite often purchase emails will be sitting in that location and can be deleted after a short time.
Is There An Extra Charge Or Booking Fee When Buying Tickets?
There is no extra charge. The transaction charge or Booking Fee is included in the ticket prices shown.
Will I Be Able To Buy Tickets At Sudeley Castle?
I Am Unable To Buy Tickets Online, Is There Another Method?
Please contact the Spectacle of Light booking line on 01242 705 555, and your tickets will be posted to you. You can also purchase tickets in person at the Everyman Theatre Box Office, Cheltenham.
‘On the Day’ tickets at the Full Price are available at Sudeley Castle Visitor Centre on the evening from 4.00pm onwards.
